Eloy Jimenez Goes 1-For-4 In Rehab Game
2 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Eloy Jimenez (hamstring) has resumed his minor league rehab assignment with Triple-A Charlotte and went 1-for-4 with two strikeouts as the designated hitter on Wednesday. Jimenez resumed his minor league rehab assignment on Tuesday, and although he has just one hit in eight at-bats over the last two days, the good news is that the 25-year-old looks to be heading in the right direction. Fantasy managers could have Jimenez back in their starting lineups by this weekend. He has only played in 11 games this year because of injuries and was hitting just .222/.256/.333 with a homer and seven RBI before his latest hamstring injury, but Jimenez should return to an everyday outfield role in Chicago once he's activated from the injured list.
