2 years agoThe Seattle Seahawks still have a high level of interest in trading for Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield and are also open to contractually extending him, according to a league source. The Seahawks remain in the process of collecting information and insights into Mayfield. Along with Seattle, the Carolina Panthers remain interested in Mayfield. It seems like only a matter of time before he's traded, and it only hinges on how much of Mayfield's contract the Browns are willing to eat to facilitate a trade. The 27-year-old had a tough and injury plagued 2021 campaign, but he still might represent an upgrade under center in both Seattle over Geno Smith and Drew Lock and in Carolina over Sam Darnold and rookie Matt Corral.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
