2 years agoMilwaukee Brewers left-hander Aaron Ashby (forearm) said he's feeling great and is tentatively scheduled for a touch-and-feel bullpen session on Saturday. Ashby was placed on the injured list on Monday with left forearm inflammation, but the injury isn't believed to be very serious. If that's indeed the case, the 24-year-old southpaw may miss the minimum 15 days on the injured list and return to Milwaukee's rotation sooner than later. Ashby has been better as a reliever than a starter this year, and overall he's 1-5 with a 4.25 ERA and a 1.45 WHIP while striking out 67 and walking 26 in 55 innings over 14 outings (eight starts) in just his second major league season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
