Jake Cronenworth Sitting Against Lefty
2 years agoSan Diego Padres second baseman Jake Cronenworth is not in the starting lineup on Thursday against Philadelphia Phillies left-hander Ranger Suarez. It's just the second day off of the season for Cronenworth, who has been red-hot in the month of June with a .337/.436/.593 slash line, a 1.029 OPS, four home runs, 22 RBI, 20 runs scored and a stolen base in 22 games. It has raised his season line to .250/.341/.408 with seven home runs, 41 RBI, 45 runs scored and one stolen base in 317 plate appearances. C.J. Abrams will play second base and hit eighth on Thursday for the Friars against Suarez. Those looking for a deep sleeper in DFS should look elsewhere, as Abrams has looked overmatched at the plate so far in the big leagues with just 12 hits and one home run in his first 65 at-bats.
