2 years agoChicago Bears linebacker Matt Adams was arrested on Thursday night and charged with misdemeanor gun possession and possessing a high-capacity magazine and metal-piercing bullets, according to the police report. Police found the bullets while searching a vehicle that had been reported stolen. Adams has a court date scheduled for Aug. 24. The 26-year-old was a seventh-round pick by the Indianapolis Colts in 2018, and he spent the last four seasons working with head coach Matt Eberflus, who was the defensive coordinator for the Colts. Adams has mostly made an impact on special teams in his time in the NFL, and the Bears were expecting much of the same in 2022.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
