2 years agoThe New England Patriots restructured center David Andrews' contract on Friday, creating $2.1 million in salary cap space for the 2022 season by converting $3.15 million of his compensation into a signing bonus, according to a source. Andrews' updated 2022 salary cap charge is now $4.275 million. The 29-year-old had offseason shoulder surgery, but he's expected to be ready to go in Week 1 as New England's starting center. Andrews began his career in 2015 and has played all six of his NFL seasons for Bill Belichick and the Patriots.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
