2 years agoThe Baltimore Orioles placed rookie right-hander Kyle Bradish (shoulder) on the 15-day injured list on Friday with right shoulder inflammation and recalled right-hander Marcos Diplan from Triple-A Norfolk in a corresponding move. Bradish's IL placement is retroactive to June 21. The 25-year-old hasn't been very good in his first 10 major league starts -- 7.38 ERA, 1.77 WHIP, 11 homers allowed in 46 1/3 innings -- but he's been particularly bad recently for Baltimore in a starting role. Perhaps Bradish can work out some of his kinks during his minor league rehab assignment, but he's obviously not a starter that fantasy managers need to be stashing in deep mixed leagues while he's sidelined.
