Byron Buxton Still Sidelined Friday
2 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton (knee) remains out of the starting lineup on Friday against the Colorado Rockies. Buxton will miss his third straight game due to right knee soreness. It's not an ailment that is expected to land him on the injured list, but the Twins are being extra cautious with the oft-injured star outfielder. The Twins remain hopeful that the 28-year-old will be able to return at some point this weekend, so fantasy managers should consider Buxton day-to-day. Buxton has as much upside as any player out there when he's healthy, so he's a must-start anytime he's in the lineup. Gilberto Celestino is in center field and is batting ninth on Friday against Rockies right-hander German Marquez.
