2 years agoChicago White Sox third baseman Yoan Moncada (hamstring) could be ready to return Tuesday, according to manager Tony La Russa. Moncada was placed on the injured list, retroactive to June 18, with a strained right hamstring, and Tuesday is when he is eligible to come back. Although Moncada had been struggling severely this season with a brutal .179/.230/.292 slash line, his last game before his injury was his best, as he tallied five hits, including a home run and a double along with five RBI. Even with that effort, though, it is hard to trust Moncada in fantasy, especially since Jake Burger has been playing well in his absence. Moncada could see reduced playing time when he returns, which would make him non-viable in most fantasy leagues.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
