Austin Meadows Likely To Begin Rehab Assignment Tuesday
3 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Austin Meadows (illness) has cleared the league's COVID-19 protocols and is likely to begin a rehab assignment on Tuesday. Meadows has been out since June 17 and previously missed almost a month with a bout of vertigo before falling ill with the virus. He will need some reps in the minors to shake off the rust before he rejoins the big league club. Meadows has been a disappointment in his first year with the Tigers, hitting .250 with no homers, nine runs, and 11 RBI across 128 at-bats.
