Matt Bush Starting Against Nationals
2 years agoTexas Rangers right-hander Matt Bush will serve as the team's opener on Saturday against the Washington Nationals. Bush pitched on Friday in the series opener against the Nats, going a scoreless frame with two strikeouts, so he's unlikely to go very long in his start Saturday. Overall this year, the former No. 1 overall pick in 2004 has a 4.05 ERA and a 1.16 WHIP while striking out 36 and walking seven in 26 2/3 innings over 30 outings (three starts). In all three of Bush's starts, he's only gone one inning, so fantasy managers shouldn't be looking to him as a streaming option on Saturday.
