2 years agoCleveland Guardians pitcher Shane Bieber (3-4) allowed three runs on six hits and two walks while striking out four over seven innings. He was tagged with his fourth loss of the season. The 27-year-old started the game off strong, tossing five straight scoreless innings. All the damage against Bieber came in the sixth inning when he surrendered a three-run shot to Alex Verdugo. The Guardians right-hander owns a 3.07 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, and an 88:20 K: BB across 85 innings in 2022. Bieber will look to improve to 4-4 in his next start when the Guardians host the Minnesota Twins on Thursday.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
