2 years agoSan Diego Padres starting pitcher Blake Snell (0-5) allowed four runs on six hits and two walks with four strikeouts across 5 2/3 innings in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Philadelphia Phillies. He started the game off strong, tossing four scores innings. Things unraveled for the southpaw during the fifth frame. The Phillies tagged three runs off Snell in the fifth and tacked on an additional run with an Alec Bohm RBI double in the sixth frame. Snell is winless on the season and was tagged with his fifth season loss. Overall, the 29-year-old owns a 5.60 ERA, 1.44 WHIP, and 38:19 K: BB across 35 1/3 innings. Snell will look to pick up his first win of the year Saturday on the road against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
