2 years agoThe Tampa Bay Rays activated shortstop Wander Franco (quadriceps) from the 10-day injured list on Sunday. Fantasy managers can now slot him back into their starting lineups, as Franco is back at shortstop and is hitting in the two-hole on Sunday against Pittsburgh Pirates right-hander Roansy Contreras. The 21-year-old was on the injured list for just under a month with a left quadriceps strain, and he went 6-for-16 (.375) with two RBI in five minor league rehab games with the Rookie-level Rays and Triple-A Durham. He was hitting .270/.305/.421 with four homers, 19 RBI, 27 runs scored and four stolen bases with the Rays before his injury. Franco will return to everyday shortstop duties and is a must-start fantasy commodity.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
