2 years agoColorado Rockies manager Bud Black said that infielder/outfielder Kris Bryant (back) will rejoin the team in Denver on Monday. The thought is that Bryant will be activated from the injured list at that time, but they will evaluate him when he joins the team. The veteran slugger has gone 3-for-20 (.150) with no home runs, no RBI, two runs scored and eight strikeouts in six games for Triple-A Albuquerque on his minor league rehab assignment, which doesn't exactly inspire confidence that he can hit the ground running when he returns to the Rockies lineup. The 30-year-old last played for Colorado on May 22 and has been on the injured list twice due to back issues already this year. Bryant was hitting .270/.343/.333 but had yet to go deep in 17 games before his latest injury.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
