2 years agoNew York Yankees relief pitcher Aroldis Chapman (Achilles) threw a hitless inning with one strikeout in his second minor league rehab appearance for Double-A Somerset on Sunday, and the Yankees expect to activate Chapman from the injured list this week. The hard-throwing left-hander last pitched in the majors on May 22, but skipper Aaron Boone said over the weekend that Chapman will return to ninth-inning duties. The 34-year-old will likely rejoin the team on Monday against the Oakland Athletics, and fantasy managers will need to get him back into their lineups immediately. Clay Holmes has been much better as the Yankees closer this year, but Chapman will still have plenty of value if he's closing games for the best team in baseball. Chapman's return is bad news for Holmes, but he needs to remain rostered in all leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
