2 years agoThe Kansas City Royals selected the contract of first baseman Vinnie Pasquantino from Triple-A on Monday. One of the organization's top prospects, Pasquantino was hitting .280 with a .372 on-base percentage, 18 home runs, and three stolen bases in 296 plate appearances for Kansas City's Triple-A affiliate this season. With Carlos Santana heading to Seattle in a trade, Pasquantino seems likely to step into a regular role with the Major League club.
