2 years agoThe Boston Red Sox placed outfielder Jarren Duran and relief pitcher Tanner Houck on the restricted list on Monday and recalled right-hander Connor Seabold from Triple-A Worcester and selected the contract of infielder Yolmer Sanchez from Worcester in corresponding moves. Duran and Houck remain unvaccinated for COVID-19, so they'll be unavailable for the series in Toronto this week against the Blue Jays. With Houck not available in the back of Boston's bullpen, John Schreiber, Matt Strahm and possibly Jake Diekman will vie for save chances in Toronto. With Duran out on Monday, Rob Refsnyder is starting in right field and batting leadoff against Jays right-hander Kevin Gausman.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
