2 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard improved to 5-6 in Monday's 4-3 win over the White Sox. Thor pitched 7 innings, allowing three runs on six hits and a walk with seven strikeouts. He has had an up-and-down season and hasn't gotten the strikeouts fantasy managers have been used to seeing, but his 3.86 ERA over 12 starts is not bad, given he hasn't pitched a full season since 2019. Syndergaard will face a tough matchup at the Astros in his next start, and it would not be unreasonable for fantasy managers to consider sitting him if they have other rotation options.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
