2 years agoThe Philadelphia Phillies placed starting pitcher Zach Eflin (knee) on the 15-day injured list on Tuesday due to a right knee bruise. The move was retroactive to June 26. The 28-year-old has made 13 starts so far this season for the Phillies, pitching to a 4.37 ERA and a 3.85 FIP in 68 innings of work. In those 68 innings of work, the right-hander has also struck out 56 batters while allowing just 15 walks all season. Philadelphia's other rotation options include Aaron Nola, Kyle Gibson, Ranger Suarez, and Zack Wheeler.
