2 years agoCincinnati Reds second baseman Jonathan India (hand) is back at second base and is batting leadoff on Tuesday against Chicago Cubs right-hander Keegan Thompson. India was hit by a pitch on his right hand on Saturday against the San Francisco Giants and was held out of the lineup on Sunday, but he's back in there on Tuesday for the series opener against the Cubbies. Last year's National League Rookie of the Year has struggled to find his footing in his second MLB season due to injuries, and he's slashing just .217/.278/.289 with one home runs, six RBI, six runs scored and one stolen base in 21 games played. In 10 games in June, India is 5-for-39 (.128) with 10 strikeouts in 45 plate appearances.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
