2 years agoWashington Nationals pitcher Tanner Rainey allowed a hit and a walk while striking out one across a scoreless inning to earn the save during Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates. During Tuesday's game, he entered the ninth inning to protect a two-run lead. The 29-year-old has now recorded a save over his last four appearances.
