Phillies Calling Up Darick Hall
2 years agoThe Philadelphia Phillies are calling up first baseman Darick Hall from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Wednesday after he hit his 20th home run in the minors on Tuesday night. The left-handed slugger isn't among the team's top-30 prospects on MLB Pipeline, but that doesn't mean he won't be able to make an impact in fantasy or for the Phillies in his first call to the Show. The 26-year-old was slashing .269/.346/.548 with an .894 OPS, 67 RBI, 47 runs scored, five stolen bases, 30 walks and 63 strikeouts in 72 games for Lehigh Valley before the call-up. It remains to be seen if he'll make his MLB debut on Wednesday against Atlanta Braves right-hander Kyle Wright, but Hall is worth a pickup in deep mixed and NL-only leagues if you're in need of some power.
