2 years agoSan Diego Padres third baseman Manny Machado (ankle) remains out of the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Machado will miss his ninth straight game after tweaking his ankle on Father's Day on June 19. The 29-year-old superstar was hoping he'd be available in the series against Arizona, but hopefully he'll be able to return for a crucial series on the road against the division-rival Los Angeles Dodgers, which begins on Thursday. Once Machado returns to the lineup, he'll need to be put back in all fantasy lineups immediately. Ha-Seong Kim is starting at third base again on Wednesday and is hitting sixth against Diamondbacks left-hander Madison Bumgarner. Kim is hitting much better against southpaws this year with a .274 average, as opposed to .204 against righties.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
