Franmil Reyes Resting Against Twins
2 years agoCleveland Guardians outfielder Franmil Reyes is not in the starting lineup against the Minnesota Twins on Thursday. Reyes is hitting just .205/.259/.311 with four home runs, 16 RBI and 11 runs scored on the season in 42 games as a massive disappointment for fantasy managers that were expecting much more of a power display. He missed some time due to injury as well, and he'll finish the month of June hitting .250/.276/.464 with one home run and four RBI in seven games played. Josh Naylor is the designated hitter on Thursday and will bat cleanup, while Owen Miller will play first base and hit fifth against Twins right-hander Chris Archer. Naylor has been a much more consistent power threat for Cleveland, batting .271 on the year with nine long balls and 41 RBI.
