2 years agoThe Tampa Bay Rays reinstated right-hander Drew Rasmussen (hamstring) from the 15-day injured list on Saturday as the 27th man for their doubleheader against the Toronto Blue Jays. In corresponding moves, the team optioned right-hander David McKay to Triple-A Durham, recalled right-hander Dusten Knight from the taxi squad and added right-hander Cristofer Ogando to the taxi squad. Rasmussen will return to a 5-3 record, 3.41 ERA and 1.14 WHIP to start against the Blue Jays in Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader. The 26-year-old didn't go on a minor league rehab assignment prior to returning, so he'll be a pretty risky fantasy option in his first start back. Rasmussen should stick in the Rays rotation following his start on Saturday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
