2 years agoDetroit Tigers rookie first baseman Spencer Torkelson (head) is not in the starting lineup on Saturday against the Kansas City Royals. Torkelson left early on Friday after he was hit in the head by a pitch, and he's likely still in the league's concussion protocol. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. The 22-year-old former first overall pick in 2020 has struggled at the plate in his first taste of major league pitching, as he's hitting just .194/.287/.292 with four home runs, 16 RBI and 19 runs scored in his first 216 at-bats for the Tigers. Kody Clemens is taking over at the hot corner on Saturday and is hitting eighth against Royals left-hander Kris Bubic. Clemens will be a low-upside DFS target at the bottom of the order. He has five hits in 36 at-bats for the Tigers this year with a homer and five RBI.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
