2 years agoThe Tampa Bay Rays reinstated left-hander Brooks Raley and right-hander Ryan Thompson from the restricted list on Monday and returned right-handers Phoenix Sanders and Javy Guerra to Triple-A Durham in corresponding moves. Right-hander Cristofer Ogando was optioned to Durham, and left-hander Josh Fleming has been recalled from Durham. Raley was unavailable to play in the five-game series in Toronto against the Blue Jays because he's unvaccinated against COVID-19, but he's rejoining the team for their series against the Boston Red Sox that begins on the Fourth of July. The 34-year-old southpaw has been great this year, posting a 2.22 ERA and 0.90 WHIP with four saves and 32 strikeouts in 24 1/3 relief innings.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
