Dylan Floro Earns His Second Save Monday
2 years agoMiami Marlins reliever Dylan Floro closed out Monday's 3-2 win over the Washington Nationals, recording his second save of the season. He pitched one inning, allowing one unearned run with no strikeouts or walks. Floro owns an ugly 4.95 ERA and 1.30 WHIP with nine strikeouts across 20 innings this season. However, he's improved as of late, pitching to a 2.70 ERA in his last seven outings. Floro's saves came on back-to-back days, so perhaps Don Mattingly is starting to find more trust in the right-hander. Tanner Scott still figures to be the closer, but the former Dodger might be a streaming option when the former isn't available.
