Myles Straw Scuffling At The Plate
2 years agoCleveland Guardians outfielder Myles Straw was hitless in two at-bats on Monday against the Detroit Tigers. He did walk once but didn't score or provide an RBI. Straw's numbers haven't been as productive as last year through 76 games. He's slashing .193/.291/.244 with 13 stolen bases, 44 runs, and 10 RBI. Over his last 30 games, Straw's hitting a measly .132. Fantasy managers were expecting a higher batting average to go along with his stolen bases. That hasn't been the case, and it's hard to justify playing him strictly for his speed.
