2 years agoSan Diego Padres left-hander Adrian Morejon (shoulder) said on Tuesday that he's starting a minor league rehab assignment with Triple-A El Paso. Morejon landed on the injured list on June 23 with left shoulder inflammation, and he had only thrown 4 2/3 relief innings before getting injured. The Padres will likely keep the 23-year-old in a relief role, so he may not need more than a couple rehab outings before he rejoins the major league roster. In parts of four seasons with San Diego, Morejon has a 5.65 ERA, a 1.44 WHIP, 38 strikeouts and 10 walks in 36 2/3 innings over 19 appearances (eight starts). As long as he's coming out of the bullpen, Morejon won't have much fantasy appeal, even in deeper leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
