2 years agoBoston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts (thigh) is back at shortstop and is hitting cleanup on Tuesday against Tampa Bay Rays left-hander Jeffrey Springs. Bogaerts needed stitches to close a left thigh laceration that he suffered on Sunday, and he sat out on Monday in the series opener against Tampa. The 29-year-old should be returned to all starting fantasy lineups in single-year leagues, as he's hitting .318/.391/.456 on the year with an .847 OPS, six home runs, 31 RBI, 47 runs scored and three stolen bases in 322 plate appearances over 76 games played. He's cooled off a bit lately, though, going 8-for-36 (.222) with no homers or RBI in 10 games over the last two weeks.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
