2 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Alex Kirilloff left the game in the seventh inning on Wednesday against the Chicago White Sox after he flipped over first baseman Andrew Vaughn, who extended his whole body down the first base line to catch a ball. It's unclear exactly what his injury is at this point, but we'll pass along more information when it becomes available. The 24-year-old went 1-for-4 with an RBI before leaving the game, and he entered Wednesday's contest hitting .264/.296/.429 with three home runs, 17 RBI and 11 runs scored in 28 games in his second major league season. If Kirilloff is forced to miss extended time, Gilberto Celestino could see more playing time in Minnesota's outfield.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
