2 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder/first baseman Andrew Vaughn (illness) will remain out of the lineup Friday, but is feeling better and could pinch-hit. Vaughn missed Thursday's game with the illness and is not feeling good enough to return tonight in a starting role. He will likely return over the next few days. The 24-year-old is having a decent sophomore campaign, batting .298 with eight home runs. He has improved in almost every area since last year, which is a great sign for a young prospect like Vaughn. Hopefully, he can keep improving and become the legitimate stud that his prospect profile said he could be.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
