2 years agoCleveland Guardians first baseman/outfielder Josh Naylor was scratched from Friday's game against the Kansas City Royals. Naylor was originally in the lineup, but was removed just prior to game time. Naylor has been battling back issues for the past week, and his absence is likely related to that. Hopefully he can put these issues to rest soon, as he's enjoying a nice breakout campaign this season with a .276/.332/.510 slash line to go along with 11 home runs in 196 at-bats. Keep an eye on Naylor's status over the weekend and be ready to replace him if need be.--Matt Garon - RotoBaller
