Jacob deGrom Looks Sharp In Rehab Start
2 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Jacob deGrom (shoulder) pitched well during his second rehab start on Friday. The All-Star pitcher went three innings, three hits allowed, and struck out six batters. The 34-year-old hit 100-plus on the radar gun and has looked sharp thus far. Although, deGrom only threw 36 pitches, so he still has a long way to go in his rehab assignment. Possibly, the Mets get deGrom back in late-July, but that seems like a shaky timetable. He'll probably still need one or two more starts before he returns to the big league roster.
