Mike Gesicki Expected To Play On Tag This Season
2 years agoMiami Dolphins tight end Mike Gesicki is expected to play on a franchise tag in 2022-23. Both sides have until July 15 to reach a long-term agreement. Yet, there has been little movement regarding negotiations. Gesicki, who is due to make nearly $11 million this season, finished last year by amassing a career-high 73 catches for 780 yards. However, he only had two touchdown grabs after combining for 11 in the two seasons prior. Nevertheless, with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle anticipated to command the attention of opposing defenses, Gesicki has a chance to find the end zone a bit more this season. His fantasy production will increase even more if Tua Tagovailoa develops throughout training camp.
