2 years agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Wander Franco (wrist) will be placed on the injured list, according to manager Kevin Cash. The 21-year-old was pulled out of the game on Saturday after feeling discomfort in his wrist during his first at-bat. The expectation is that this is a hamate injury, which means he could be out until at least after the All-Star break. A tough break for the young infielder who recently came back from the injured list. The Rays will likely make a corresponding move on Sunday.
