2 years agoChicago Cubs outfielder Jason Heyward (knee) has started doing light baseball activities and some light running, according to beat writer Meghan Montemurro. Heyward has been dealing with right knee inflammation and has been out since June 27 so this is just the normal step forward in his rehab. The veteran outfielder has largely been a disappointment this season with a .204/.278/.277 batting line to go along with one home run, 10 RBI, and one stolen base over 137 at-bats.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
