2 years agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Brandon Lowe (head, back) was able to work out on Saturday and is back in the lineup with Triple-A Durham on Sunday, per beat writer Marc Topkin. Lowe, who has been on a rehab assignment as he covers from a lower back injury, was hit in the head by a pitch during a game on Thursday. He was pulled from the contest as a precaution and the good news is that he's back in the lineup on Sunday with no side effects. The Rays expect to have the hard-hitting infielder back after the All-Star break.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
