Jonathan Schoop Not Starting Game 1 On Monday
2 years agoDetroit Tigers second baseman Jonathan Schoop isn't in the team's lineup for the first game of a doubleheader against the Kansas City Royals and right-hander Brad Keller on Monday. Schoop is batting .212 with a .248 on-base percentage, six home runs, and five stolen bases in 322 plate appearances this season. Harold Castro is starting at second base instead and hitting third against Keller and the Royals. Castro is batting .268 with a .298 on-base percentage and four home runs in 190 plate appearances this year and could be worth a look as a streaming option for fantasy managers in deeper leagues.
