2 years agoContrary to a previous report, a member of the San Francisco 49ers coaching staff said that quarterback Trey Lance hasn't been dealing with "arm fatigue." "I've never heard anything about that a day in my life," the unnamed staff member said. There have been reports that there are some concerns about Lance's arm health within the organization, but this seems to refute any of that. Jimmy Garoppolo (shoulder) has yet to be traded this offseason, but it's still expected that the Niners will go with Lance as the starter under center to begin the regular season in 2022. But if training camp begins and Jimmy G is still around, there could be a little QB controversy in San Francisco. Lance is an exciting dual-threat talent both in real life in fantasy, and he'll be a high-end backup option for fantasy managers if he's the unquestioned starter this year.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
