David Peterson Makes One Mistake, Loses To Braves
2 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher David Peterson was outstanding against the Atlanta Braves Tuesday night, but unfortunately he was saddled with the loss after leaving the final pitch of his outing up to Matt Olson, who knocked a two-run home run over the center-field fence. Peterson allowed only those two runs on two hits and three walks while striking out nine batters. The loss drops his record to 5-2 on the year with a 3.48 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, and 76 strikeouts in 67 1/3 innings. He's a worthy streaming option going forward.
