2 years agoTampa Bay Rays right-hander Corey Kluber earned the win on Tuesday in his latest start. The veteran threw six innings against the Boston Red Sox, scattering four hits, two earned runs, and a walk. He also struck out seven batters in the outing and registered a 31% CSW rate. Kluber generated 14 swinging strikes on 88 pitches, including five with his cutter and three each with his sinker and curveball. For the season, the 36-year-old has pitched to a 3.58 ERA and a 3.29 FIP in 17 starts spanning 88 innings. He's also struck out 79 batters while allowing just 14 walks.
