2 years agoBoston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers hit his 20th home run of the season Thursday, though it wasn't enough to help the team avoid a 5-4 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays. Devers was 2-for-4 in the game with the solo shot. The blast comes on the same day franchise legend David Ortiz called Devers the face of the team and urged ownership to keep him around with a long-term contract. Devers certainly is deserving, with a .978 OPS, 60 runs scored, 52 RBI, and two steals in 361 plate appearances this campaign. He's among the top fantasy options at his position year in and year out.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
