Ranger Suarez Activated For Start Saturday
2 years agoThe Philadelphia Phillies activated left-hander Ranger Suarez (back) from the 15-day injured list and infielder Johan Camargo (knee) from the 10-day injured list on Saturday and optioned right-hander Mark Appel and outfielder Mickey Moniak to Triple-A Lehigh Valley in corresponding moves. Suarez will make his return and start against the Miami Marlins on Saturday after spending just over the minimum amount of time on the injured list with a lower back spasm. The 26-year-old didn't make any minor league rehab starts before his return, so he'll be extra risky in fantasy in his last start of the first half of the 2022 season. In 15 starts this year, Suarez is 6-5 with a 4.33 ERA, 1.46 WHIP, 64 strikeouts and 33 walks in 79 innings pitched.
