Lance McCullers Jr. Throws Two Innings In Simulated Game
2 years agoHouston Astros starting pitcher Lance McCullers Jr. (forearm) threw two innings in a simulated game on Saturday, firing off 40 pitches while using his "entire arsenal," according to beat writer Brian McTaggart. The next step in McCullers' recovery process would be a rehab assignment. Barring any significant setbacks, the 28-year-old hurler could make his season debut sometime in late August. He hasn't appeared in a major league game since last year's postseason.
