Carlos Rodon Dealing With Finger Issues
2 years agoSan Francisco Giants pitcher Carlos Rodon (finger) has a blood blister and a split nail. The southpaw allowed one run on eight hits and three walks while striking out seven across five innings in last Thursday's start against the Milwaukee Brewers. He won't pitch in the All-Star game due to his minor finger injuries. The 29-year-old has been terrific this season, posting a 2.66 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, and a 131:35 K: BB across 105 innings. It's unclear if Rodon will miss a start after the All-Star break, but he will have a few days off to fully recover ahead of his next start.
