Giancarlo Stanton Retreats To The Bench
2 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Giancarlo Stanton will start Sunday's game against the division-rival Boston Red Sox on the bench. Stanton has been on a tear of late, but he'll get a day of rest to close out the first half of the season. The 32-year-old enters Sunday's action with a .237/.319/.516 slash line with an .835 OPS, 24 home runs, 61 RBI and 40 runs scored in 279 at-bats. Fantasy managers need to make sure to remove him from their lineups on Sunday. Tim Locastro draws into the lineup in right field and will hit eighth against Red Sox left-hander Chris Sale. DFS gamers should be able to do better than Locastro. He has just 15 at-bats on the season and has homered and stolen four bases.
