Nyheim Hines Looking Forward To The Season
2 years agoIndianapolis Colts running back Nyheim Hines has come to realize he won't receive more carries than Jonathan Taylor, assuming the latter is healthy. However, that doesn't mean Hines won't be involved in the offense this year, with head coach Frank Reich stating after OTAs that he'd like the 25-year-old to finish in the top three in receptions for the club. After years of dealing with mediocre quarterback production, the NC State alum is excited to play alongside Matt Ryan, a signal-caller who may have a lot left in the tank. While Hines likely won't be as much of an asset in all fantasy formats, he deserves serious consideration in PPR leagues this season, especially after compiling 210 catches for 1,537 yards and seven touchdowns on the receiving end during his career. Hines will also be a valuable insurance policy for anyone fortunate enough to get Taylor on their roster.
